@Margaret: All we have to do is make each of our own stories as gripping as this and we’ll own the world.

I´ve seen this one before. Know what amazes me? The herd came back for the little one. The one adult ran back and got his mates to help out! How incredible is that? And not only did they manage to free the little one, they chased off the lions as well!

Take that, course of nature! ;)

@Thorey: Indeed. The story line of this footage is incredible. Buffalo, lions, crocks, tourists (a little windmill in the background indicating civilization in the middle of this natural world drama – didn’t see that did ya?). Imagine if every one of our stories made people feel the same way they do after seeing this?

Lions and buffaloes  and crocs oh my!
all eating each other neath a big sky!
I love suspense, and you can call me dense,
but I’d rather we all sat around and ate pie.

This was like a car crash-you hated watching it, but you couldn’t look away. Now, you know you are having a really bad day when you are attacked by lions AND crocodiles! Such a metaphor for life that the little guy survived (at least until the end of the film-I sure don’t know how!)

And yay for the herd coming back to kick ass!

@Cathy: Haha. I did enjoy how the little buffalo got away – at least until the next day and the next ambush.
