I thought it would be a good idea (since we have 3 weekdays available to do so) if the CCC community got the opportunity to do guest posts on our site relating to writing.
As long as it deals with writing, I think It would be neat to hear what you guys have to say about various aspects of writing. Hell, at the very least, you guys get to get your name on another site and a link back.

Hi Shane, the answer if probably yes, we should! Thanks for the invite… well, I’m muscling in on it… So sad I can’t write one for you now but I would love to do a swap sometime. I’ve been having a lot of guest posts on my blog recently and there are pros and cons to that. I don’t have a definitive answer but my feeling is 50% guest posts is too much. I need to have about 2 per month which leaves the main writing (2 posts a week) up to me. Love to hear what you think:) I know you’ll find some yummy guest posts from your readers. Mine are clamouring for them – it’s a bit overwhelming really!

Traffic by Writing Less
This should help with your issue. For the CCC, I think twice a week is fine since the idea of this site is to have fun and crush writer’s block. I started to do random posts just to give people more fun items to see, but I think allowing CCC contributors to write on the CCC soapbox and show everyone how they feel would be more valuable that a youtube video I could post.
As for your site, I’d write a guest post. Just send me some ideas as to how to tie it into your message. Thanks for the offer.
Hi Shane, yes, I saw your comment on Jon’s then followed the link to find this:) I’m suffering paralysis at the mo and don’t think I can do or take anything on the guest post front! I have a lot of work to do sorting out where I’m up to so far. I have guest post guidelines on my blog but all full til Nov. It’s riduclous really. Still, good to be in touch with you and when I do come up for air I’d love to do a swap and share your fab writing with my eager readers:)

I read the Jon Morrow’s posts on Copyblogger and on Problogger. I have had a few guest posts on my blog. My goal is to write at least one guest post per month.
